"Our family really enjoyed this house for the 2nd year in a row! It was clean with a capital C and had a huge yard to play the many provided yard games with our kids! It was a great respite from our daily adventures. It’s so close to what Bemus Point had to offer but also just far away enough to feel secluded. Debra was always within an ear shot if we needed and they were a gracious host. Don’t tell your friends! Hah!"

"The place is lovely, as are the hosts. The space is immaculate, and nicely appointed. The hosts have stocked it with 85% of the “stuff to bring just in case” - blankets, pillows, anything cooking- and coffee-related, even a couple of bikes. It’s not on the water, but is very centrally located. You can walk to “downtown” Bemus in 7-8 minutes (or drive in one), where there are a number of excellent restaurants and shops. I would mention any negatives, but I really can’t think of any. Great place. Highly recommended. "

"My family and I stayed here for 6 days and it truly could not have been better. We'd never been to the area, but were looking for a mellow "beach" experience and this delivered beyond our dreams. The access to the water is so easy, every detail of the room we stayed in was charming. The kitchen is well stocked with spices and all, they do a great job managing the temperature of the home especially in the middle of summer. It's hard to put into words just how much we enjoyed the space and its offerings.Bonus: There's also a family owned drive in movie theatre right down the road! "

"From beginning to end the stay was perfect. The location was perfect, with the house being near all of the shops and restaurants while also being quiet. The bedding being in bags on arrival was great, as it provides peace of mind that the beds are fresh. The house, especially the kitchen, was more spacious than the pictures made it look. Our family (including 3 kids under 5) will definitely stay at this house again when we inevitably return to Bemus Point. "

"Although this hotel is nothing fancy, the front desk employees were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. I asked for a quiet room and even though the room was directly over the dining area, I never heard a thing. I thought the bed was going to be too firm, but slept like a baby. Breakfast was the usual buffet, but it’s free so no complaints. The only complaint I have is that they advertised the ability to “cast” premium channels from your phone to the tv but found out the tv wasn’t connected to the internet. Limited channels available otherwise. Would definitely stay here again"

"We had a fantastic stay! The host was incredibly accommodating and always quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had—communication was excellent. The house itself was beautiful and very well stocked with everything we needed, from paper towels and toilet paper to soaps, cleaning supplies, and laundry essentials.There were more than enough towels and washcloths for everyone, which was much appreciated. The location was perfect, and we absolutely loved spending time on the front porch. The large yard and ample parking made things even more convenient.Highly recommend this property—we would definitely stay here again!"

"When I arrived at the Butler House, the owner (MK) informed me that it was actually closed for renovations. Expedia had been repeatedly informed of this but continued, nonetheless, to book reservations for guests! MK was very apologetic and offered me accommodation in the camper beside the house. It looked to be very comfortable and roomy, and had a relatively large fridge, so I accepted. Never regretted the decision. It was so quiet and cool in the evenings that I slept very soundly, and the location is totally pastoral and scenic. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. "
